Gift Guide for Guys Christmas 2016 - Boyfriend Dad Friend Brother Son

Welcome to the 12 days of blogmas!  We are kicking off with a simple gift guide for the guy in your life, even for those difficult ones to buy for.

Aftershave - Pretty self explanatory, if you know he has a signature scent prove you know him well and pick him up a backup.  If not, pick one you like and hope he likes it too..

Men grooming - Whether he's got that lumberjack 'hipster' look or at soft as a baby's bottom the beard is a hot topic at the moment so will be on quite a few guys wishlists this year, even they don't admit it.  They like a good pamper as much as us girls.

Experience - Perfect present for someone who has it all or anyone with a hobby. There is such a wide range of experiences out there you are bound to find something they would enjoy.  And some can be for more than one person so you can always give him some company driving fast cars or skydiving.

Coffee Machine - I feel like everyone bought their dad a coffee machine last year but I think they are great.  Once you go posh you don't go instant again. There are so many out there but Tassimo are great value for money and so many brands of coffee, tea and hot chocolate are compatible.

Trainers - I don't think there are a lot of guys that would turn their nose up at trainers are they?  Trainers aren't just for the gym buffs anymore, trainers are so on trend this can be seen as a cool trend piece as well as functional.

Food & Drink - Doesn't necessarily have to be an alcoholic gift, you might be the favorite with a cheese hamper come Christmas day night.

Remote Helicopter/Drones - Little gadget like this are great socking fillers, plus will keep them entertained while you're off trying out your new liquid lipsticks from Kat Von D he bought you.

Wallet - There are so many variations of wallets nowadays this is a great present for any guy.  Can be used as part of lots of smaller gifts or more premium wallets can be a really lovely, luxury present.

Gloves - Perhaps a better idea for a dad or uncle , however anyone that has to brave the cold come the first day back at work would love to get hold of a pair of these.

Boxed Game - There's always a new boxed game floating around my house on Christmas day.  Such a great idea to get the family together before the big lunchtime feast. Everyone knows we all fall asleep after dinner.

Let me know what ideas you have for the guys you are buying for this year.

Black Friday Wish List 2015

Black Friday is upon us again and for those of you unfamiliar with the term 1. where have you been and 2. your bank balance is going to regret finding out, anyway Black Friday has become a chance for retailers to promote their products and give us bargains!  The event is actually an American tradition but like Mcdonalds, Facebook and Kim K we have accepted it into our welcoming British arms.

This year in the UK offers have been launched before Friday and seem to be carrying on into the weekend so I'm sure everyone will get a chance to look at the deals on offer.  I have been saving up my pennies with the intention of getting Christmas presents for my nearest and dearest, though who am I kidding I have also got my eye on some things I really hope go into the Black Friday sales.

I would love to know what you are planning on buying this Black Friday or if you have already bagged yourselves some deals!
PS it is one month until Christmas day!!!!

Huge US Real Techniques Haul

Before my spending ban came into play I made a cheeky little order to My Pretty Face Place an American website selling Real Techniques products. I found the site on Cosmetic Crave's blog where I also found a discount code, which by the looks of it she has quite regularly. I had been after the Blush Brush from Real Techniques so after when I saw there was an extra 15% off using using the code, I could not resist.
All products that I received are genuine and are cheap due to the pricing in the US being cheaper than here in the UK. You lucky devils America. I picked all this up for under £60 including delivery. That is such a bargain when each of the sets are £20 each.

Valentine's Weekend in Paris

Over the past week I have been suffering from major holiday blues.  For Valentine's day my boyfriend took me for a long weekend to Disneyland Paris.  It was amazing, we spend three days at Disneyland and the Studios where we went on the rides and met lots of different characters.  I some how convinced my boyfriend to queue for an hour to meet Mickey Mouse and half way through he asked me what ride we were waiting for.  He was baffled that it was just for a photo, but it made my day having a dance and I kissed Mickey on the nose.  (Don't tell Minnie)  We watched the parade and the floats are amazing with characters from all the films out dancing and singing along.

On Valentines day we took the train into Paris and even though it was raining and miserable it didn't ruin our day.  We first went to Notre Dame, still in the Disney theme clearly. Then engraved our padlock and locked it onto the lovelock bridge. We walked around paris all day seeing all the different sights and it just so happened that we strolled into the Sephora on the Champs Elysee.  I do have to apologies that I got so excited the only photo I managed to take was of the ginormous bottles of perfume they had displayed.  Being Valentines day we couldn't not go up the Eiffel Tower, two and a half hours later in the queue and we made it up there.  Paris is such a gorgeous place and I personally love cities at night so I absolutely loved it.

It only took us a few hours on the Eurostar to get to the Disney Station so I think Paris is brilliant place to spend a well needed weekend away with friends or loved ones.

Primark and H&M Haul - What Spending Ban?

I may have broken my spending ban a little, but oddly enough its with clothes again and not cosmetics and makeup. Something strange is going on.  These are purchases from Primark and H&M.  I personally love Primark hauls as it is the only way of knowing what kinds of things are in store as they don't have an updated website with all their stock.
Black and White Aztec Top - £4
 Grey Peplum - £3 Sale
Sheer Alphabet Blouse - £12 (Primark is definitely upping their prices)
Black Sheer Blouse - £5
Beige Cardigan with Shoulder Detail - £14 (again a few years ago, this would have never been this price)
Navy Jumper - £5
Seamfree Built in Cup Top - £5
Black Asymmetric Dress - £7 Sale
Coral Skater Dress - £13 (there are identical versions to this in Miss Selfridge for a lot more)
Green Shorts - £2 Sale
 Headband - £1.50
Eyelash Curlers - £1
Back combing Brush - £1
 Water Bottle - £2
Pack of 3 Flannels - £2.50
Hair Doughnut - £1
 Studded Handbag - £6
Sandals - £6 each

While H&M had 20% student discount, I thought I would take advantage.
Yellow Blazer - £30
Mint Green Jumper - £15
Grey Skull Dress (looks so much better on) - £15

I prefer to do hauls showing each item as I have done here, but let me know if it is too picture focused.
